$155.23

Okay, I'm done with poker for a little while. I don't feel good about my poker playing, usually a sign that I will keep losing. After a week or so, or until I feel comfortable with my poker playing agian, I may start up, but idk... I have a few midterms coming up, so I'm gonna lay off poker for a bit.

$205.09

Not good, I'm down about $15 from yesterday. I played 4 $5.50 45-man sngs and 9 $5.50 1-table sngs and a few cash games. Not doing too well. I start to wonder if it's even possible for me to make a profit playing online. I guess we'll see after a little longer.

$226.74

I'm doing fairly well, I worked my way up to $300 with a lucky cash in the daily double for $160. After that I pretty much fizzed down to $250 and decided I was REALLY (hopefully) going to only play .05/.10 cash and $5 sngs until I can move up with the occasional mtt to mix things up. :) I'm at $226.74 now after giving someone $50 so they could play. Come to think of it, I should be about $210 richer online because I've lent out about that much to people. Oh well, I guess I need to endure the lowest limits at least... :P

Things like this make me want to say 'rigged!' :/

Online Poker - $196

Last night I started my session at $196 and some cents, and I ended it an hour and a half later practically even. Interesting session of poker to say the least. :P Hopefully I can start making some money playing with 5% of my bankroll playing at .05/.10. We'll see though....

Bankroll Management

My bankroll is now about $200 even online. I'm going to start using cash game strategies to better manage my bankroll. I'm going to use only 5% of my bankroll in a cash game and play 4 at a time.

I'll update after I finish this session.

LIVE GAME:
$302 + $203 = $505

Wow... All I can say... I hit everything... There are so many hands to talk about. I just kept getting bad cards, but all my bad cards kept destroying the flops. I hit all my draws, and came out extremely up.

We played at Scott's house Saturday night, and I came out up $70 bucks. I chopped the tournament with Scott (sounds familiar?) and won $20 for that, and i ended up, up $50 for the cash game after that.

Sunday night, we played at Will's and during the cash game... Wow... I bought in for $20. Cashed out two hours later with $185. Absolutely ridiculous. We played a $20 tournament and I got knocked out in 3rd when I had top pair, and he had middle pair. He ended up hitting two pair on the turn, and I didn't improve... :/ Put me down to $145. :P Then we played dealer calls cash, and i cashed out with 8 after an initial buy-in of $20, so that put me at $133. Then we played a $10 heads-up tournament with the 4 of us that were left. I got 2nd and won my money back, which put me at $133 for the night. Not a bad haul! :P

Sunday Million

I put $45 online again and played some tournaments. I ended up playing two $11.70 satellites to the Sunday Million and won the 2nd one. I played the Sunday Million with Danno and was doing great for the first hour, then during the 2nd hour, we didn't really get a decent hand. We were stuck with about 13 BB's. Here's the situation:

I'm in the big blind and I get dealt AKo and a middle position person raises a normal x3 the blinds raise. Do I have any other option other than reraising all-in? With 13 BB's, I was crying for a good hand for a double up.

Well it ended up that he had KK and I didn't improve, so I was out in like 2xxxth place out of about 6500 people (estimating, not sure). I think I did fairly well and did the best I could. Just didn't pick up a hand... :/ Oh well.

After the Sunday Million I pretty much tilted the rest of my money on various tournaments and cash games. So... I'm down $90 online and I'm done for a while now that school started. If I have an empty afternoon with nothing to do, I may play a tournament or two, but for now I think I need to focus on school. Hopefully we can start up a live cash game soon.

ONLINE GAME:
$12.94 ----> $0

Okay, I'm officially done with online poker for a little bit. Gonna try and focus on my studies this semester. Seems like I should just play live games since I keep winning... :D

Online Poker goin down...

LIVE GAME:
$207

ONLINE GAME:
$36.34 ----> $12.94

Oy... A few weird hands and bad luck led me down to this. Along with the $21 i wasted in the rebuy. ;D I think after this I might chill from online poker for a while. I haven't played much in the last few days, but it just keeps going down. I'm saving this last money for an $11 satellite to the Sunday Million or an $11 deep stack tournament. Today we'll be playing some live poker, so hopefully I'll win some money there! Get some extra money before I head off to college! ;D

Starting Online again...

I deposited $45 on PokerStars, so I'll go ahead and add that into the total to make things easier.

LIVE GAME:
$142

ONLINE GAME:
$45 ----> $89.05

Not really much to talk about, I played 3 $4.40 180-person sng's and got 4th place in one of them. I played a bit of .05/.10 cash online, and a 1-table $3.40 turbo sng. All hold-em naturally! :P Didn't have any interesting hands, hopefully next time I'll beat someone's quads with higher quads! :D

Sweet Winnings

Starting with yesterday's game, I'm going to start posting about my wins and losses every time I play poker. Green means a win, red means a loss.

At the top of every post will be the total profit (hopefully I can start a bankroll soon):

LIVE GAME:
$0 + $142 = $142

ONLINE GAME:
$0

Last night, we played poker after tennis and I won some money. We played about an hour of .25/.50 cash, then a $20 tournament, then some more .25/.50 cash for about 45 minutes.

In the cash game I made a profit of: $4.
I chopped the pot in the tournament and made a profit of: $70.
In the second cash game, I made a profit of: $68.

*HIGHLIGHT HAND*

In the 2nd cash game, I won a monster pot from Neel and Sagar. Neel was UTG, I had the button, and Sagar was BB. Neel had called out his hand pre-flop, AdQd. I looked at my hand and I have QJo so I call his pre-flop raise. Sagar also calls.

Flop was:

Qs Js rag

Sagar checks
Neel bets $3
I raise $7 more on top. (because I know I'm beating him and I know he's going to call me down with TPTK)
Sagar pushes all in for $6.75
Neel thinks for a bit then calls
I call

At this point Sagar makes a mistake and puts out the turn and the river, both blanks for Neel. If an ace came out I was just going to fold if he bet.

Neel checks
I bet all-in
Neel thinks then calls

I flip over my hand, cause I know I'm winning. They groan, and apparently Sagar had QK, and he didn't hear Neel say what his hand was, LOL!

Mad moneeeey! :P Maybe Neel will think twice about calling his hand out next time... :)
